Welcome to Mellow's Log Cabin. This blog's purpose is to supply information on a diversity of American southern music - ranging from country, blues, old-time and folk to R&B, rock'n'roll and rockabilly. I regularly present my research results about artists, labels, shows and also give guest writers a chance to publish their texts here on occasion.

Davey Jones

Davey Jones - The Real Thing (1959), Dade 1801

I felt it is time for another 45 record. Davey Jones presents us a nice late 1950s rock'n'roll effort here on the Dade label. I know nothing on both label and artist except that this is believed to be a Miami, Florida, record from 1959. The flip is a slow early soul ballad. Information is appreciated!
