Welcome to Mellow's Log Cabin. This blog's purpose is to supply information on a diversity of American southern music - ranging from country, blues, old-time and folk to R&B, rock'n'roll and rockabilly. I regularly present my research results about artists, labels, shows and also give guest writers a chance to publish their texts here on occasion.

Waylon Jennings - Kentucky Woman

Waylon Jennings on Hee Haw in 1970 performing "Kentucky Woman", a song written by Neil Diamond. I like Jennings' 60s recordings, they have a special sound.

Waylon Jennings was the one of the finest singers of our and anyone's time. I really agree about those 60's records... unique to say the least.
