Jim Reeves in the UK charts

It's hard to believe but just as amazing and wonderful. Jim Reeves, who died in 1964 in a plain crash, broke into the UK pop charts. Bear Family's box set with his complete recordings became the # 8 on UK's national pop charts last wekk - the 'Gentleman' asserts his position as one of the most sucessful pop/country artists in music history.

It's not hard to understand-Jim's smooth voice could hold it's own with any. His perfectionist tendancies resulted in excellent musical arrangements as well.
