Prayers from Hell

A wonderful compilation with awesome old-time songs, concentrating on the sinner's side of life. Tracks included from the Monroe Brothers, Bill Carlisle, the Dixon Brothers, the Carter Family and Frank Hutchison. A real gem (at least for me) is Dock Boggs' "New Prisoner's Song". I've never heard anyone sing so sad just as ol' Doc! A beautiful record, a raw diamond. Hope you'll enjoy it.
