New Bear Family releases

Bear Family Records announced its new releases for the up-coming two months. Visit also the Bear Family website for more information.

Here are new releases concerning Rock'n'Roll and Country:

1. A new CD containing all tracks by Phoenix rocker Jimmy Dell. Features also Dell's first single which he recorded with Duane Eddy. Dell is going to play the Rockabilly Rave this summer, his first gig for over 40 years.

2. "Red Hot - The Sun Years, Plus" by Billy "The Kid" Emerson. Contains his rhythm and blues recordings for Vee-Jay, Sun, Chess and others.

3. "The Drugstore's Rockin' - To You and Yours" by George Hamilton IV. Features Hamilton's early country, rockabilly and teen rock'n'roll recordings, including his hit "Abilene".

4. "A Good Year for the Roses" by George Jones. This second box set (the first was issued last month, see here)
contains four CDs with more Jones classics. His Musicor recordings are available now for the first time on one set.

5. Last but not least, Bear Family has two new releases in its "Rocks" series: one by Amos Milburn and another by Charlie Rich.
