Although Merle Haggard supported Hillary Clinton for Presidency, he wrote a song about President Barack Obama. "Hopes are High" is the title and features the passage "We got a new style with a sincere smile, and a new song to sing along.". Though, Haggard says that he don't believe one man can change all the chaos Obama's predecessor left behind.
